The Expert Internal Auditor (EIA) certification is an international qualification issued by OXA – Oxford Certification Authority. It validates your professional competence in internal auditing, risk management, and corporate governance in line with IIA 2024 Global Standards, ISO 19011, COSO, and ISO 31000 frameworks.

The EIA certification is designed for:
Internal auditors, compliance officers, and quality professionals.
Risk and governance specialists.
Consultants, managers, and graduates seeking career advancement in auditing and assurance.
No prior certification is required — basic knowledge of management systems or auditing is sufficient.

No. Training is recommended but not mandatory. You may either:
Attend a live training program with an authorized OXA trainer, or
Prepare independently using official or personal study materials.
The training fee is paid separately to trainers or centers, while the exam fee (USD 300) is paid directly to OXA.

Mode: Online (supervised remotely)
Format: 100 Multiple-Choice Questions
Duration: 120 minutes
Passing Score: 70%
Languages: English or Arabic
Schedule: Every two months (bi-monthly)
Results are issued within 48 hours.

Registration is simple: 1️⃣ Complete the Application Form. 2️⃣ Pay the exam fee (USD 300) via Stripe, PayPal, or local agent. 3️⃣ Receive your confirmation email and exam date.

Each certificate includes a unique QR code that links to an online verification record. You can also verify manually by sending your details and certificate photo via WhatsApp or email to the OXA support team.

Exams are held bi-monthly (every two months). If you do not pass, you can retake the exam after 14 days for a re-exam fee of USD 100.

The EIA certification is valid for 3 years from the date of issue. Renewal requires either:
Completing 60 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours, or
Retaking the certification exam.
